Notice of Race Back to School Regatta September 20th & 21st, 2008

The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, by Class Rules for the participating classes, the rules of the GYA Regulations for Sanctioned Events and the regatta Sailing Instructions. The SI's will be available at registration. Capdevielle & Open Scots will attempt five races.

Classes: Capdevielle & Open Scots, Laser, Laser Radial, Sunfish, Optimist ( red, white and green fleets), 420’s, Finns, Open Bic and/or any other class with three board boats.

Entry fee: (No fee for Capdevielle)

Multi-crewed boats $35.00 for US Sailing members $40.00 for non-US Sailing Members
Single-handed boats $30.00 for US Sailing members $35.00 for non-US Sailing Members

Lunch will be served on the water Saturday only. Optis and Open Bics will have lunch dockside before leaving the harbor.

Capdevielle and Open Scots Five races will attempt 5 races, with two races constituting a regatta.

All other classes will attempt 6 races with 2 races constituting a regatta

Saturday September 20, 2008
Registration 08:30-10:00
Skippers Meeting 10:00
First warning signal 11:25 with additional races to follow.

Sunday September 21, 2008

First warning signal 10:25 with additional races to follow.
No warning signal will be made after 14:00 on Sunday
Trophy presentation will be as soon as possible after the last race.
