The "Victoria" model sailboat kit can be had for about $200 complete with radio. The carbon rig and mylar sails can be handmade for about $50 or purchased, ready to race, for about $150-200. There are only a few modifications that can be made to the kit and still be class legal, so it is one of the most inexpensive of the R/C sailboats.
